BOURNEMOUTH 1-3 CHELSEA - BLUES MAINTAIN SEVEN POINTS LEAD WITH COMFORTABLE VICTORY



 Chelsea continue their push for the Premier League title with a win at Bournemouth on saturday.

After seeing closest rival Tottenham beating Watford 4-0  the blues responded with a comfortable victory at the Vitality stadium.


The home side almost took the inside just two minutes with Thibaut Courtois showing good reflex to prevent an own goal from David Luiz.

But Chelsea took the lead after 17 minutes when Victor Moses fed the ball to Diego Costa,the striker turning and firing into Artur Boruc corner via a big deflection from Adam Smith.

Hazard double chelsea lead after rounding Boruc and rolling home 

 Three minutes later it was two for Chelsea. A long ball from N'golo Kante found Eden Hazard who races through on goal before rounding off the goalkeeper and slotting the ball home.

Bournemouth almost pull one back after 27  minutes, Benik Afobe volley hitting the inside of the post with Courtois well beaten.

It was all Chelsea from then on with Hazard, Pedro and Moses all going close to add to the score line.

The homeside cut the deficit through Josh King 20 yard shot deflecting off David Luiz to beat Courtois.

After the restart the host almost took the lead through Fraser, his shot going narrowly wide.

 In the 67th minute Cook brought down Diego Costa and Marcos Alonso bending the resulting free-kick into Boruc's top left corner.

Alonso made sure of the points with his fifth goal of the season
Boruc saved well from Victor Moses and  Costa late on as Chelsea moved a step closer to Premier League glory.
