MAN UTD STRIKER ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC RULED OUT OF THE SEASON WITH KNEE INJURY

Man Utd have been dealt a major blow with top goalscorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic set to miss the rest of the season after injuring himself against Anderlecth.

The former PSG striker  landed awkwardly in the final seconds of normal and was replaced by Antonio Martial.

This will come as a big blow to  Jose Mourinho as and side pursuit for Champions League football next season.

Ibrahimovic might have played his last game for United with his contact set to expire at the end season with the striker expected to be fit in January 2018 if he has damaged his anterior ligament.

The Swede has been in fine form this season scoring 28 goals in all competition for Red Devils including a double in the League Cup final against Southampton.

Jose Mourinho will be hoping that young striker Marcus Rashford can fill the void left by Ibrahimovic untill the end of the season.
