Atletic levelled the score through Merino when he recieved a pass from Eraso to slot the ball home. Poor defending from Madrid.
Substitute Alvaro Morata put the host in front again, forcing the ball home from a Gareth Bale cross.
It should have been three had Ronaldo not decided to go for goal when he should have pass to Toni Kross.
Sevilla 1-0 Atletico
Atletico bow to their first defeat of the season as they lost to sevilla with Steven N'zozi scoring the only goal of the game.
The visitors had their chances as Kelvin Gremiero shooting straight at the goalkeeper and Correa firing wide.
Samir Nasri hit the post before Oblak made a stunning save to stop Vitolo's shot.

The Yelow Submarines remain within two points off the top four with a win over Las Palmas.
