Arsenal 0-0 Middlesbrough

The Gunners have Petr Cech to thank for earning a point in this one. The 34 year-old made strings of fine stop to deny Boro.

The away side had the better chance most notably Gaston Ramirez who went close twice and Adama Traore who was denied by Cech having gone through one-on-one.

Arsenal had their chances too with Alexis Sanchez kept out twice by Victor Valdes in the first half.

Bournemouth 0-0 Tottenham

A win would have taken Spurs top of the table temporarily with City not playing until Sunday.

The home side almost took the lead through Charlie Daniels who was denied by a brilliant save from Hugo Lloris.

Spurs came close though with Erik Lamela hitting the bar in the first half and both Dele Alli and Danny Rose denied by Artur Boruc  after the break.

Leicester 3-1 Crystal Palace

Leicester made 20 games unbeaten at the King Power when the defeated Palace 3-1.

Yohann Cabaye scored a late consolation for Palace but it was little too late to stage a comeback for the Londoners.

Liverpool 2-1 Wes Brom 

After monday night drab draw against Manchester United Jurgen Klopp men were back to their best, dominating the possession and took the lead through Sadio Mane.

Philippe Coutinho doubled the lead for when his shot found the bottom corner.
