Manchester United are in talks with midfielder Juan Mata over a new deal according to reports from The Sun.
The Spain International have been impressive since the start of the new season and Jose Mourinho is keen to tie down the man he sold to United from Chelsea two years ago.
Mata currently have two years to run on his contract and is believed to be happy to sign an extension having settled very well to in Manchester.
An agreement is expected to be reached between the two parties before new year.
Also Mourinho is working hard to tie down teenage sensation Marcus Rashford and 23 year-old Jese Lingard to a new deal as he continues to build his team.
