Chelsea have a buy-back option in the deal which saw attacking midfielder Thorgan Hazard move to Borrusia Mochengladbach.
Thorgan, a Belgium international is the younger brother of Chelsea star Eden Hazard was deemed surplus to requirement by Jose Mourinho and was offloaded to Mochengladbach after an initial loan.
But the Stamford Bridge outfit where smart enough to insert a buy-back option in the deal.
Chelsea have first option on the player for a fee of 15million pounds which will expire december 31 which leaves the Blues with only three months to consider resigning the player.
