EPL WEEK 8 ROUNDUP: ARSENAL BEAT SWANSEA AT HOME AS CITY AND TOTTENHAM ARE HELD

MAN CITY 1-1 EVERTON
Manchester City seems to have lost their early season free scoring form as they failed to score twice from twelve yards. First it was Kelvin De bruyne in the first half and Sergio Aguero in the second
.

City as you would expect had most of the possessions and had a great opportunity  to take the led just before half time when Phil Jagielka brought down David Silver in the 44th minute.

De bruyne step up to take the spot kick but was denied by Stekelenburg.

Lukaku gave Everton the lead in the 64th minute with a fine finish. City had the chance to go level just two minute later when Jagielka again brought down Aguero in the 69th minute.

The Argetine took the penalty but was denied by the impressive Martin Stekelenburg.

City did found the net when substitute Nolito headed in from a David silver cross.

The draw means City have gone three games without a win.

WES BROM 1-1 TOTTENHAM

Tottenham needed a late strike from England International Dele Alli to snatch a point from the Hawthorns.

Former Spurs player Nacer Chadli have thought he has won the game for Wes Brom when he found the back of the net with eight minute left to play. It was his fouth goal in five games since joining the baggies.

England international Dele Alli was on hand to tap home after an attempt from Christain Eriksen was blocked.

ARSENAL 3-2 SWANSEA 

Arsenal continued their good run off form when they held on to beat Swansea at the Emirates.

Theo Walcott  scored twice but Sigurdsson pull one back for the visitors just before half time.

Mesut Ozil scored Arsenal third with a wonderful volley before substitute Borja Baston scored Swansea second.

Granit Xhaka made a little bit difficult for the Gunners when he ws sent off for a clumsy challenge on Barrow but Arsenal held on to make it six wins from seven Match.

Bournemouth 6-1 Hull City, Crystal Palace 0-1 Wesh Ham, Stoke City 2-0 Sunderland
